Ichariba Chōde: Once we meet, we are Bother / Sister.
When I say the words Ichariba Chōde I place my hand upon my heart
and allow this truth to permeate every cell of my being
Affirming that we are all related
We are portals of beauty & wonder Journeying side by side as companions in the great mystery Each of us serving as a pathway to presence
In every encounter, with every exchange,
something sacred is revealed.
The moment we meet, a thread is woven.
Binding us in the fabric of space & time
for a moment and for eternity
Ichariba Chōdē calls us into generosity.
Into compassion.
Into empathy.
Into the sweet trust that flows
when we honor one another as kin.
To be siblings is To understand each other’s Burdens & Hopes
and to Live life as a shared inheritance.
This is the wisdom of kinship.
And so now that we have met,
we are brother / sister.
