Botanical Description
A low-growing, succulent herb with translucent stems and heart-shaped leaves. Prefers shady, moist environments and grows as a wild green across Okinawa.

Recognized for antioxidant, antimicrobial, and anti-arthritic properties. Sometimes used in tropical folk medicine for skin eruptions and edema.
Contraindications
May lower blood pressure. Use with caution in hypotensive individuals.
